Prague looks like city out of a fairytale book, built from Gothic Medieval architecture. Prague dates back to the Paleolithic era, and has a long history of ruling, power, and suffering. The Czech Republic has been through a few different eras including the Medieval, Renaissance, Jewish Quarter, and Roman Empire. The country has been overthrown and ruled by Celtics, Austro Hungarians, Jewish, Romans, and Germanic tribe Marcomanni to name a few.
After the fall of the Berlin wall, in 1993 Prague became the capital of what is now called the Czech Republic.
In regards to food, Czech Republic is known for its beer and delicious meats. A traditional Bohemian meal would include pork knuckle, roast duck, sausage, smoked meat, and red or white cabbage. Doesn’t sound the healthiest, but it’s good when you pair with a beer.
